Commercial
Banks

From the red rock canyons of Moab to the evolving heart of Salt Lake City, our series of projects for MACU (Mountain America Credit Union) redefine the architectural language of community banking in the American West. Each site responds not only to place but to the deeper patterns of human interaction—blending precision with warmth, technology with tactility.

Churches/ Theater Design

Sacred and Civic Spaces

Featured projects:  Lutheran Church of Saint Andrew’s, Orem Storytelling Theater, and West Salt Lake Catholic Church

Each of these spaces reflects a distinct cultural voice, yet they share a common architectural ethos: to amplify meaning through material, light, and form, supporting both communal gathering and individual reflection.

Together, these projects underscore Arqui+Tectonics’ belief that sacred and civic structures should not impose meaning, but reveal it, through the lived rhythms of their communities

Tenant Improvements & Culinary Spaces

Starbucks SLC Airport, Tec Nos Pos Restaurant & Campground, Fat Boy’z Grill’in, and Pre I Share Studio

These tenant improvement and hospitality projects exemplify our approach to refining everyday spaces into meaningful environments—where function meets atmosphere, and commerce becomes experience.

Together, these projects demonstrate our belief that even the most utilitarian spaces can express identity, support community, and elevate everyday experience

Child Development Centers/ Educational

Little Singer Community School, Naples Head Start, Little Folks Daycare, Mountain States Line Constructors Education Center, and Hill AFB Daycare

Our work in educational design is grounded in a simple but profound principle: spaces that support learning must also inspire it. Each of these projects is uniquely tailored to its community, climate, and pedagogical rhythm, fostering safety, imagination, and growth.

Together, these spaces express our belief that architecture can empower the youngest among us by creating environments that are protective, inspiring, and attuned to the way children move, learn, and dream.

Car Wash

At Arqui+Tectonics, even utilitarian architecture is an opportunity for design to clarify, elevate, and reframe how we move through the built world. Our car wash designs go beyond efficiency—they transform routine maintenance into a moment of precision, flow, and visual rhythm.

Each project is calibrated to:

  • Streamline vehicular choreography, from entry to exit, with intuitive circulation and minimal friction points.

  • Integrate durable, climate-responsive materials that perform in high-moisture, high-use environments while retaining a polished, contemporary aesthetic.

  • Enhance brand identity through lighting, signage, and façade articulation—turning a transactional space into a recognizable public landmark.

  • Support long-term operational sustainability, with attention to drainage, energy efficiency, and mechanical accessibility.

Recreational Projects/ Visitor Centers

Recreational & Interpretive Architecture

Featured Projects:  Pahranagat National Wildlife Refuge, Rutherford Recreation Center, Toh Grey Hill Cultural Community Center, and Price Wave Pool

These projects explore the intersection of land, culture, and collective experience, creating spaces where communities gather, visitors engage, and environments are honored.

Together, these recreational and interpretive spaces express a core belief: that architecture can connect people to each other, to land, and to the stories that define them—through spaces that invite movement, reflection, and joy

Southwest Architecture/ Navajo Projects

Featured Projects:  Canyonlands Natural History Association, Monument Valley Health Clinic, Toh Grey Hill Cultural Community Center, Mexican Water Senior Center, Gentle Ironhawk Shelter, and Montezuma Creek Park

In the American Southwest, architecture must do more than shelter—it must listen. To wind and sky. To sandstone and sagebrush. To the rhythms of community life and the endurance of cultural memory. These projects demonstrate a practice of contextual design rooted in respect, restraint, and resonance.

Together, these works embody Arqui+Tectonics’ commitment to designing with, not just for, the communities of the Southwest—where every detail is shaped by dialogue, landscape, and lived meaning.
